I have known my friend Harold for over 12 years, and in that time, I have seen his acting career go from “small” to, in my opinion, quite healthy. While he still has a “normal” job, Harold and his wife Trish primarily support themselves through their acting gigs, working in television and print advertisements, voice-overs, local theater, movies- anything they can get their hands on. This year, Harold was cast in his first main role: a leading character in the internet post-apocolyptic adventure serial Lady Wasteland. The series premiered today, and I am just getting ready to click on over and check it out. I recommend you do, too. I’ve seen Harold in a few plays in Portland, as well as a movie role, and am really thrilled for him that his work is finally reaching a larger audience. Congratulations, Harold!
PS. In the photo, Harold’s character is on the right, next to the girl. Handsome devil, eh??

Aw shucks… thanks Kate :) Don’t go too crazy, though… I’m not really THAT handsome – I just had a good photographer. And as much as I’d like to say I get the majority of my income from acting…. I just can’t. This has been my best acting-income year to date, and looking at the books, I’m making much less than you are as a Graduate assistant.
But thanks for the thought and the thumbs-up! Hope you like Episode 1… keep “tuning in” each Friday for future episodes.
P.S. It’s snowing here in Portland
