Icy paths shimmer under a waning moon as east’s sky glazes slow.

I’ve been going through poetry drafts looking for work that might benefit from revision (it all would, but where to start first is the question) and I am suprised by how many moons are in my poetry.
It’s not just me. For a beautiful poem about the moon and a gorgeous picture of wolves with a bit of Native American tribal history on their relationship, see SBPoet’s poem: Wolf Moon.

Revision’s been on my mind. I have a moon poem inspired by a recent read of Sassafras, Cypress & Indigo by Nzotake Shange. If you can find the time, I recommend it. You can find my moon musing at BES.
