SO SUE ME! Sarah Palin

I’m all for memes that poke politicians in the eye.

So I’ve joined Dr. Omed, @tinydoctor on Twitter and Identi.ca, and hopefully others, in sending @AKGovSarahPalin Twitter messages every once in a while, letting her know what I think about her running away from Alaska and running back into a national campaign.

From the good doctor’s post:

I ask all pilgrims and seekers out there in the ether who have Twitter accounts to tweet @AKGovSarahPalin with a message expressing your feelings about her and her resignation speech Friday–in 140 characters or less, of course–and make sure your tweet ends with the phrase “SO SUE ME!”

ALL CAPS PLEASE. The number of exclamation marks is Up To YOU!!!!!!!

I suggest not getting carried away, though, don’t tweet @AKGovSarahPalin 25 times in a row. Use wit, not vulgarity. Once, twice, three times in enough. SO SUE ME! tweets should come at her from many, many sources from all over the innertubes.

The Alaskan bloggers like Shannyn Moore she’s threatening to sue need some cover. Just as many of us became “fair and balanced” on our blogs when FOX NEWS sued Al Franken on behalf of Bill O’Reilly, we need to bring to bear the power of grass roots ridicule on Sarah Palin by way of Twitter.

Irony and humor is a great way to express yourself.

Another such example is Wonkette, who filed this story in Posts Tagged ‘train wrecks’ today: “Insane Sarah Palin, Late At Night On July 4, Threatens To Sue Entire Internet, Via Twitter.” (It’s biting and funny. Read it.)

So go ahead. Read these other stories and see what humor you can, in 140 characters or less, smite Sarah with, in her bright shining eyes.

My first lame attempt was “@AKGovSarahPalin I wrote this note yesterday: Someone should tell Sarah she’s a chimera from the deep Sahara. SO SUE ME!!!”
