work in the world!

I’m delighted that my poem “Sometimes I Miss the Old Jealous Goddesses” is now published at qarrtsiluni.

It’s my fifth inclusion, and I am a little surprised by that. Thank you to Beth, Dave and the guest editors who create such a great venue.

This is also an example that sometimes writing to prompt can create an interesting work. “Sometimes, et. al.” was written to a Wordle prompt for the late Read Write Poem. Granted, it was a prompt I created, but the words were offered by other RWP community members: Joanne Johns and Neil Reid.

If you have a hankering to help a poet in need, send a few choice words to info at bigtentpoetry dot com. We’re keeping the Wordles going. One a month.

Hey, beatifull poem AND reading, Deb. I’ve read it twice, and will go back again. The way the words fall on the page is also very nice. Wonderful imagery of stone.
