Next time I’l study your spots, fine feathers the color of bourbon reflected in my glass.

A sketch study using a borrowed photograph (and a fine, fine one at that), which is not reproduced in my study. One of the unidentified birds last Sunday very well could have been a Hermit Thrush. She was the size of a large sparrow, but had a large, round eye. I don’t remember her having a spotted chest. And hope I get the chance to see her or one of her kin another time.
