Whirling Dervish (WD) is a graduate student studying sociology and usually blogs about sociology, the trials of graduate school life and moving across the country, poetry, travel, politics, and random thoughts as they strike her.

We’re friends, but we’re different people. Deb met WD during undergraduate studies at MU. Deb lives in Portland, Oregon. WD lives in Easton, PA with her husband, and commutes to New Jersey to attend Rutgers University.
